The L. P. Fisher Public Library, started in 1912 and completed in 1914, is a landmark in the town of Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. Named for Lewis Peter Fisher (1821-1905), a loyalist lawyer, mayor, and leading citizen of Woodstock who bequeathed $208,000 (a considerable sum in 1905) for local charitable purposes, including the construction of a free library. The library was designed in a Greek Revival style by architect G. Ernest Fairweather of Saint John, New Brunswick and after two years of construction was completed in 1914.
