Maribor Synagogue (Slovene: Sinagoga Maribor) is a former Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, located in what was the center of the medieval Maribor ghetto Židovska ulica ("Jewish Street"), in the city of Maribor, Slovenia. The former congregation was established in the 14th century and worshiped in the Ashkenazi rite. The synagogue building was completed in the late 14th century, the building served as a synagogue until 1497; as a church from 1501 until 1785; and as a Jewish history museum, called the Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor, since 2001.

The Plague Column (Slovene: Kužno znamenje) is a monument at Main Square (Glavni trg) of the city of Maribor, northeastern Slovenia, erected by "pious burghers" in gratitude for the end of a 1680 plague epidemic that had claimed a third of the city's population. The original monument was built in 1681. The current one is a 1743 replacement, the first work by the German sculptor Joseph Straub in Maribor.

Marburg's Bloody Sunday (German: Marburger Blutsonntag, Slovene: Mariborska krvava nedelja) was a shooting that took place on Monday, 27 January 1919 in the city of Maribor (German: Marburg an der Drau) in Slovenia. Soldiers from the army of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (later Yugoslavia), under the command of Slovene officer Rudolf Maister, killed between 9 and 13 civilians of German ethnic origin, wounding a further 60, after the soldiers were attacked during a protest in the city centre. Estimates of casualties differ between Slovene and Austrian sources.
