San Justo is a city in the center region of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, 99 km north from the provincial capital. It had about 22,000 inhabitants at the 2010 census [INDEC] and it is the head town of the San Justo Department. Founded in 1868 by Mariano Cabal, San Justo attained the status of a comuna (commune) on 13 July 1887 and the following year the Ferrocarril Provincial de Santa Fe arrived on 1 September 1888.

It is located in the center-north of the province. Starting from the north and going clockwise, it limits with the departments of Vera, San Javier, Garay, La Capital, Las Colonias, and San Cristóbal.

The 1973 San Justo tornado was an extremely powerful F5 tornado which struck San Justo, a town in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, on January 10, 1973. At least 63 people were reported dead and 350 were reported injured as it cut a 330-yard-wide (300 m) swath through the town. It was the most violent tornado ever recorded in South America, and also the entire Southern Hemisphere.
